A SMALL TOWN.
A COMMUNITY WITH BIG HEARTS.
Franklin, West Virginia was founded by Francis Evick in 1794. Our quaint town overlooks the South Branch of the Potomac River and is nestled in the Monongahela, George Washington, and Jefferson National Forests. Our tiny community is full of kind hearts and warm welcomes to our residents and guests visiting our area. We are proud of our town where you'll find a helping hand when in need, delicious home-cooked meals, cozy & historic places to stay, and endless adventures in the wild & wonderful West Virginia. The Town of Franklin is dedicated to providing Pendleton County with water, sewer, and trash services, as well as organizing special events (including our annual Treasure Mountain Festival). We believe in our community, and we standby our mission to serve our town diligently in any way we can.
